Aunt Hattie's Place is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe, stable,
nurturing, and long-term home for abused, abandoned, and neglected children in
foster care.
Founded in February ,1997 by Dr. Hattie N. Washington, AHP strives to provide a stable
home for youngsters who will be in foster care, often their entire childhood and teenage years.
AHP is licensed by the Department of Human Resources; for licensing purposes AHP is
considered a group home and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.
